Chase Daniel is announcing his bid for starting
With all the talk surrounding guys like Mike Glennon and Kirk Cousins, it’s so easy to forget that the title of best backup in the NFL could rightfully belong to Chase Daniel. He is always prepared when he enters the game and was a big part of a the Kansas City Chiefs posting a winning record last season.
Thus far this preseason he has been brilliant, throwing for almost 300 yards and four touchdowns without an interception through almost a full game of work. It leads one to wonder if the former Missouri alum is ready to get his chance as a starter, if not with the Chiefs than somewhere else.
