Another favorite of mine is Tennessee’s Cameron Sutton. Sutton is another solid coverage corner who doesn’t have the elite cover skills of a Hargreaves but not most do. Sutton is still a lock down SEC cornerback who has been scaring receivers for years now. Against Oklahoma, Sutton only gave up two receptions to one of the nations best receivers in Sterling Shepard. He is a physical cornerback who can play in both press and off coverage. What he does do better then most cornerbacks in college is tackle and attack ball carriers. He loves the physical part of the game and it shows when watching him play. He absolutely crushed Durron Neal of Oklahoma which depicts his playing style to a tee. Sutton has impressive recovery speed as well who breaks to the ball with serious quickness and speed.

Sutton has been overshadowed in the SEC by Vernon Hargreaves but college football fans need to take notice. Sutton is the leader on a Tennessee defense that has the potential to be one of the best in the country. When it’s all said and done I expect Sutton to be a top half of the first round pick.
