Washington Redskins: Robert Griffin III seizing his last opportunity
Desperate players often find a way to perform at their best. Robert Griffin III has been put in that position with the Washington Redskins. With Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy nipping at his heels on the depth chart and a new GM in Scot McCloughan calling the shots, Griffin can’t afford anymore setbacks.
So far he’s been able to keep the train on the tracks, looking sharp in practice and continuing to learn the intricacies of that complex West Coast offense under head coach Jay Gruden. While both know there is a long way to go, they also understand each holds the fate of the other in their hands.
