The Sleepers

Eli Manning

Up until the loss of his left tackle to injury, things couldn’t be looking much better for Eli Manning.  He could be taking the field in 2015 with the most talented offense he’s had ever with Odell Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz leading the way.  Last season he finished with a flurry, throwing 12 touchdowns to just three interceptions.  If he gets protected, it could be a career-year for the younger Manning.

Tony Romo

What will the loss of DeMarco Murray do to the Dallas Cowboys offense.  Certainly they’ll keep trying to run the ball, but smart money says Tony Romo will have to throw the ball more.  Given his weaponry and outstanding offensive line, that shouldn’t be a huge issue.  If he’s able to protect the football and gets them back to the playoffs, don’t be surprised if that Dallas hype machine pushes over the top.

Marshawn Lynch

The Seattle Seahawks got a grim reminder of what Marshawn Lynch means to their offense and their success when they decided not to put the ball in his hands on that fateful final play in the Super Bowl.  No matter how much they try to say otherwise, when he goes, they go.  That is why they will look to him again in 2015 and he will respond with a great year that may just save them from that dreaded Super Bowl hangover.
