2015 NFL Rookie of the Year: Way Too Early Predictions

Sleeper Picks: DeVante Parker and Nelson Agholor
Devante Parker:
DeVante Parker ended up in a very good situation in Miami. The Dolphins made a a plethora of moves in the offseason, headlined by the biggest fish in free agency, Ndamukong Suh. While Suh won’t help Parker’s production or development at all, the additions of Kenny Stills and Jordan Cameron will.
With Mike Wallace out of the picture and with Kenny Stills likely to step into the role as the deep threat receiver for the Dolphins, DeVante Parker will be viewed as the go-to, possession receiver on the outside for the Phins in 2015.
With the Dolphins making a very hefty investment in Ryan Tannehill this offseason, it is expected that the Dolphins will rely more on Tannehill this season, which should create more chances for Parker to make plays.
Watch out for this highly talented rookie receiver to make an impact from day one.
Nelson Agholor:
While this may come as a bit of a surprise to some people, Agholor has a better chance to win this award than most realize. Philadelphia’s offense runs a high volume of plays, meaning Agholor will be given more chances to make plays than most of the other rookies on the offensive side of the ball.
Along with that, the Eagles are lacking the presence of an Alpha Dog receiver on the outside, so Agholor will have the chance to step in and become the go-to guy for Sam Bradford on the outside.
With DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles, the Eagles have a three headed monster in the backfield, which will garner most of the attention from other teams, which should free up space for Agholor and the Eagles receivers to use their athleticism to pick up plenty of yards after the catch.
Look out for Agholor, as I would not be surprised if he ends up as a legitimate contender for the rookie of the year award
