B. As someone who watched Smith live multiple times this season, I think this is a reach for a good player. Smith had a third or fourth round grade in my book, but he’s still a good player. There were a couple of other guys who I had much higher grades on still available, but Smith’s versatility makes his value higher for NFL teams such as the Buccaneers.. OL. Penn State. 34TH PICK: DONOVAN SMITH

B. Marpet was a fairly hyped up name based on the fact he was a division three player. He dominated the competition, but there is an incredible jump in talent, strength and athleticism in the NFL. He showed off his skills well at both the Combine and the Senior Bowl game/practices. His size will help him handle the NFL competition, but the competition level is a major concern for many who watch him. . OL. Hobart. 61ST PICK: ALI MARPET

124TH PICK: KWON ALEXANDER. B. Alexander led  his team with 90 tackles this past season, showing the ability to both stop the run and move back into coverage. He’s insanely athletic too, adding with his quick feet and lateral speed. Expect him to back up Lavonte David at the WILL position with the opportunity to make an impact on special teams.  . LB. LSU

Nebraska. 162ND PICK: KENNY BELL. B-. Bell is one of the biggest hit or miss receivers I watched this offseason. When his game is on, he’s an exciting, fast receiver who can highpoint the ball well. When he’s off his game, its not pretty. I saw three or four drops against Northwestern in 2014, one of which was a wide-open pass. His blocking is also inconsistent, which lead to his stock falling to where it did. If the Buccaneers can help him with his catching and blocking, he will be a nice number three with Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson in Tampa Bay.. WR

C. Clay will make the Buccaneers based solely on his ability to play special teams. He is expected to compete against Solomon Patton for both the starting kick and punt return jobs in training camp. As a receiver, his game is fairly limited. His size doesn’t help him one bit and his route running is limited to down the field attempts. . WR. Utah. 184TH PICK: KAELIN CLAY

231ST PICK: JOEY IOSEFA. C+. Joey Iosefa is one of the strongest backs coming out of the draft this season. He runs well between the tackles and does an adequate job catching the ball out of the backfield. He will most likely transition from running back to full back with his lack of speed and tendency to accept contact. The University of Hawaii running back was suspended for three games after being arrested for DUI, resulting in the loss of his team captain title. . FB. Hawaii

B+. The Buccaneers did a very good job in this draft. They got their starting quarterback for the future, two strong offensive lineman, a smart linebacker, and some very productive day three picks. This is a team that has made massive improvements as of late, which is due to show in the very near future on game days.. . . TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
