The not-so-scary Bears defense finished 16th in team sacks with 39 last season. Their defensive front seven ranked 30th in overall effectiveness. This ain’t your fathers’ Ditka defense we’re talking about. Though they did add Pernell McPhee in free agency, Jared Allen turned 33-years-old this offseason. Who better for Randy Gregory to learn under than Jared Allen?
