Dec 6, 2014; Atlanta, GA, USA; Missouri Tigers defensive lineman Shane Ray (56) tackles Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Blake Sims (6) during the second quarter of the 2014 SEC Championship Game at the Georgia Dome. 45. Shane Ray is an interesting prospect amongst talent evaluators. Some have him as a can’t miss pass rusher who is worthy of a top-5 selection, while others think nothing of him. Ray was named SEC Defensive Player of the Year and a consensus first-team All-American. Ray is an exceptional athlete on the field, he was an elite pass rusher at the college level. He’s an explosive pass rusher who jumps off the line as quick as any player in this class. Ray has been dealing with a toe injury during the draft process that kept him out from doing almost all the combine workouts. Surgery won’t be required on his toe but some have him slipping in the draft due to his injury. In a time where pass rushers are more valued than ever, don’t expect Ray to slip that far in the draft. <a href=. Edge Rusher. Missouri. Shane Ray. 23. player

This is an incredible value pick on my board. Shane Ray has off field issues, but he’s going to be an incredible  tandem with Von Miller and Demarcus Ware
