Need and coaching connections are both on the Baltimore Ravens side. Joe Flacco is starved for pass target and his favorite tight end, Dennis Pitta has suffered back-to-back season-ending hip injuries. They need insurance for that happening again. Bennett fits the bill. On top of that, their new offensive coordinator Marc Trestman was formerly head coach in Chicago and part of the group that brought him there in the first place. A reunion may sound favorable to all parties.
