The Chicago Bears know they need to start drafting well to get back into the NFC North picture. Do they get it done with this latest mock?

First Round

57. How in the world could Leonard Williams ever fall to the Bears at #7? Admittedly it’s hard to fathom, but by no means impossible. Three teams are big threats to take him. The first of course is Tennessee at #2. They could easily take a quarterback instead, or trade out. Then there is Jacksonville, but they just signed Jared Odrick to fill a similar role. Lastly is the Raiders, who are the biggest one to worry about. Rumors are they really like Williams. However, they also need wide receiver help for Derek Carr. If they go that direction, Washington and the Jets are unlikely to take him. That allows the best overall player in the draft to fall into the Bears’ lap, AND he’s a terrific fit for their 3-4.. Defensive Tackle. Southern California. Leonard Williams. 7. player

Second Round

Offensive Tackle. Texas A&M. Cedric Ogbuehi. 39. player. 57. A supremely gifted tackle who loses draft stock not for ability reasons but a mixture of lacking strength and injury. Cedric Ogbuehi needs to bulk up more than anything but he already possesses the key traits of a future cornerstone at left tackle. Jermon Bushrod is getting older and perhaps is due for a move to the right side. Ogbuehi’s arrival would make that possible.
