Third Round

Tyler Lockett. 71. player. 57. Often the smart way to go when picking receivers in later rounds is pinpointing the ones who are more advanced in their route running even if they sacrifice something such as size.  That is the case with Tyler Lockett.  He’s only 5’10” but the kid plays the game like an Antonio Brown.  He uses his athleticism and knowledge of route running to fool defensive backs and then a nice dose of speed to create separation for the catch.  His hands are good and he’s not afraid going over the middle.  A creative coordinator can find plenty to do with him.. Wide Receiver. Kansas State

Third Round (via Saints)

Don’t underestimate the high character players who feel like they have to fight for everything they get.  If there is some talent to work with, they will go far in the NFL.  That is the case with Lorenzo Mauldin.  He doesn’t have superstar athletic ability, but he’s got some and couples that with a tireless work ethic to get better.  He’s exactly the type of kid GM Ryan Pace wants on his roster and will give the Bears another body on the edge who can rush the passer.. Linebacker. Louisville. Lorenzo Mauldin. 78. player. 57
