The picture may be cloudier than ever, but the list of possible actions by the Chicago Bears in the coming draft has started to crystallize. Here is their latest mock.

First Round

13. player. 57. It’s unusual that a player like Andrus Peat has flown under the radar considering he may be one of the few legitimate pro-capable left tackles in this class.  Not only does he have the outstanding size (6’7″) and length (34-in arms) but also good movement skills to handle himself against speed rushers.  Best of all he’s at his best going forward, opening lanes for his running backs.  That is something the Bears are keen on getting back to under John Fox.  They have a gaping hole at right tackle.  Peat would be the ideal solution.  So trading back and then taking him makes perfect sense.. Offensive Tackle. Stanford. Andrus Peat

Second Round

Florida State. Eddie Goldman. 39. player. 57. Every 3-4 defense functions at its best when it has a nose tackle in the middle who commands double teams and plugs up the run like a Vince Wilfork or Dontari Poe.  Eddie Goldman has the look of that type of player.  He can anchor the point of attack, shed blocks and force offenses to deal with him while drawing heat off teammates.  He’s not a pass rush, but won’t need to be from that position.. Defensive Tackle

Second Round (via Saints)

Quinten Rollins. 44. player. 57. He’s still learning the cornerback position given his basketball background, but Quinten Rollins has already shown amazing progress to take.  He has that fluidity and quickness good cover corners need and doesn’t back down from playing physical with them.  Limited long speed is a drawback but once he hones his craft quarterbacks will be reluctant to throw his way too often.. Cornerback. Miami (Ohio)
