Florida State Cornerback P.J. Williams was reportedly arrested early Friday for suspected DUI in Leon County, Florida. Williams, who was projected to be a late first, early second round pick, has not yet been arraigned in Leon County Court. This incident is sure to affect his draft board status with just one month till the NFL Draft in Chicago. The news was first broken by Ian Rappaport and Albert Breer.

Williams has had previous run-ins with the law. In October, Williams was involved in a hit-and-run involving a teenage driver. Williams reportedly fled the scene, but later returned to confront police. Williams was not charged in the incident, which lead to questions with the Tallahassee Police Department. Williams was also seen fleeing the scene of a gas station robbery before the crash, but was again never charged.
Williams has flashed signs of NFL potential, especially after an excellent showing at both the NFL combine and his Pro Day, which occurred last week. Williams ran an unofficial 4.45 forty time at his Pro Day, to go along with on of the top vertical and broad jumps at the NFL Combine last month.
Williams is best known for his aggressive cover-man defense, which helped raise his draft stock among draft experts.
In NFLMocks last Staff Mock Draft, Darby was selected number 32 overall by the New England Patriots. This incident will surely lower Williams on teams individual draft boards.
