NT. Washington. Danny Shelton. 13. player. 15. Erik – Have people just glossed over the fact that the Saints defense was 29th against the run in 2014.  Newsflash.  That is really bad and a big reason why they couldn’t stop anybody.  The easiest solution is to get bigger and stronger up front.  Danny Shelton is not much of a pass rusher but as a 3-4 nose tackle he is the best to come along in the past few years.  He anchors the middle, demands double teams and is almost impossible to move off his spot.  New Orleans will be a lot harder to run against now.

59. Joe – Major area of need filled. Peters is the best corner in this class; teams will have to get past his off-field issues at Washington. Miami is a team who can take on this mini project, one that could have a Richard Sherman-like payoff.. CB. Washington. Marcus Peters. 14. player

Michigan St. Trae Waynes. 15. player. 42. Geoff – The 49ers lost both Chris Culliver and Perrish Cox this offseason, making cornerback a top need for the 49ers heading into the draft. While the Niners could use help at linebacker and along the defensive line, these needs could be addressed with good players in rounds 2 and 3. Waynes is considered the top cornerback by some analyst and should help stabilize a reeling secondary.. CB

16. player. 10. Sayre – This is a bit of a wildcard pick, but Green-Beckham paired with DeAndre Hopkins helps ease the pain of losing Andre Johnson and gives the Texans one of the most physically gifted receiver prospects in this year’s draft. DGB has all the potential in the world to be a dominant player at his position, but off-field issues and the fact that he is so raw could push him down draft boards. This pick is purely based on upside and the Texans could reap the benefits.. WR. Oklahoma. Dorial Green-Beckham
