Of course the team that has been linked to Mariota since the beginning can’t be ignored. In spite of their recent acquisition of Sam Bradford, the Philadelphia Eagles remain firmly in the rumor mill as suitors for the Heisman winner. Chip Kelly has the perfect offense to fit his talents. The only problem is they sit way back at #20 and it would cost a king’s ransom to get to #2. Kelly himself said he wouldn’t be willing to mortgage the future on that but nobody can be sure he’s telling the truth.
