Tim Couch. Brandon Weeden. Johnny Manziel. The parade of sadness at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns is long and arduous. Such futility can compel a team to throw caution to the wind and go for broke on a top tier quarterback talent like Mariota. Ray Farmer doesn’t seem like the type to take that risk but if he is or he’s overridden, then they have the ammunition to pull it off.
