13. player. 15. George Stockburger (Team 1): Rob Ryan’s defense faltered in its second season, which seems to be typical. In one season they went from being a top five pass rush defense, to being ranked 27th. The loss of Curtis Lofton does not help their pass rushing efforts either. The former Cornhusker is a raw outside linebacker who has the strength and toughness to play at the NFL level. One of his biggest knocks is his lack of weight for the position, so look for him to add a couple more pounds before the draft.. EDGE. Nebraska. Randy Gregory

Eric Kendricks. 14. player. 59. Sayre Bedinger (Team 2): Kendricks is an excellent player who joins a suddenly star-studded Dolphins defense, led by Ndamukong Suh. Miami has an excellent foundation on the front seven, but Kendricks is a guy who would add another dimension to the unit and provide a playmaker that can learn from veterans like Cameron Wake.. ILB. UCLA

player. 42. Erik Lambert (Team 3): Through the retirement fiasco of Patrick Willis and Chris Borland it’s easy to forget the San Francisco 49ers lost both of their starting corners to free agency. Corners are of infinitely more importance than inside linebackers. Besides, with Trae Waynes still on the board, a player who should go in the top 10, dropping to them at #15 made the selection easy. He’ll settle down their pass coverage on the outside, permitting Trent Baalke to worry about the linebackers on Day 2.. CB. Michigan State. Trae Waynes. 15

Missouri. Shane Ray. 16. player. 10. Tyler Morales (Team 4): The possibility of adding Shane Ray to a defense with JJ Watt, Jadeveon Clowney was something we couldn’t pass on. So we pulled the trigger and made it happen.. EDGE
