Florida State. Eddie Goldman. 21. player. 56. The Bengals missed out on a pass rusher, but they can still grab an upgrade on the defensive line here. The Bengals don’t really have anything next to Geno Atkins at defensive tackle. Eddie Goldman is a big body to help free up blockers that would allow Geno and the linebackers to receive more one on one situations. Goldman is stout at the point of attack and is a solid athlete for his size. He’ll never stuff the stat sheet, but he’s a reliable defensive tackle.. DT

Wake Forest. Kevin Johnson. 22. player. 55. Kevin Johnson isn’t the best corner in this class, but he’s my favorite corner in this class. The Steelers need multiple corner upgrades this offense. The duo of Cortez Allen and Ike Taylor were relentlessly torched on a weekly basis. Adding a player of Johnson’s skill level would make things a little easier for the Steelers’ defense. Johnson brings grit, intelligence, and instincts to the cornerback position. He’s a perfect fit for the Pittsburgh Steelers.. CB

Carl Davis. 23. player. 50. The Lions traded for Haloti Ngata, but they have nobody to play next to him. Ndamukong Suh, Nick Fairley, and C.J. Mosley are all gone which leaves a huge hole next to Ngata. Carl Davis is a guy that Teryl Austin would love to get his hands on. Carl Davis has motivational issues at times, but when he’s fully focused and giving 100% he can be the most dominant defensive lineman on the field. Davis flashes elite potential, but needs to become more consistent on a play-to-play basis.. DT. Iowa

CB. Florida State. Ronald Darby. 24. player. 32. Antonio Cromartie is gone leaving a huge hole across from Patrick Peterson at the starting cornerback position. Ronald Darby is a pure cover corner who should fit into the Cardinals defensive scheme. Darby has been picking up steam lately and his draft stock seems to be solidified in the first round.
