Oct 30, 2014; Louisville, KY, USA; Florida State Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston (5) against the Louisville Cardinals at Papa John

Now that some of the free agency frenzy has resided, it’s a good time to assess how the moves will affect April’s NFL Draft. Here’s a brand new 2015 NFL Mock Draft.

48. No change here. Barring a ridiculous unforeseen chain of events, Jameis Winston will be the quarterback of the Buccaneers in 2015.. QB. Florida State. Jameis Winston. 1. player

The Titans have re-signed Derrick Morgan and signed Brian Orakpo, shoring up their edge rushers. With the money tied into that position, it’s unlikely they’ll pick one of the top edge rushers with this pick. They have a solid front line, one that Leonard Williams would fit into. However, quarterback is the biggest need on this team. Williams is a great prospect, but is he on the level that Ndamukong Suh and Gerald McCoy were in 2010? Absolutely not. Since that’s the case, positional value overcomes prospect rankings. Zach Mettenberger isn’t the answer in Tennessee, and as a former sixth round pick he’s expendable. Another point to the argument for Mariota is the fact that Zach Mettenberger hasn’t exactly been the model of health at the quarterback position. General Manager Ruston Webster (Jake Locker) and Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt (Kevin Kolb) have both had stalled progress in their careers from quarterback injuries. Mariota never missed a game due to injury during his college career which has to be enticing for both Webster and Whisenhunt. Mariota has the potential to be a very good to elite quarterback in this league and that’s nearly impossible to pass up.. QB. Oregon. Marcus Mariota. 2. player. 35

52. The signing of Jared Odrick eliminates Leonard Williams here. Chris Clemons is still effective, but he isn’t getting younger any time soon. Dante Fowler Jr. would make a ton of sense here. He’s a physical, high upside edge player who is just scratching the surface of how good he can be. He’s the type of player Gus Bradley will covet.. EDGE. Florida. Dante Fowler Jr.. 3. player

player. 28. Silver and Black fans get their man. There’s a very small chance that Williams makes it past this pick for two reasons. First of all, many people consider Williams to be the best player in this entire draft class. Secondly, he’s been a Raiders fan his entire life as a Southern California native. This is a match made in heaven. The Raiders now have two young defensive stalwarts: Leonard Williams and Khalil Mack.. DT. USC. Leonard Williams. 4
