Texas. Malcom Brown. 17. player. 13. Erik: Pass defense became a strength for the San Diego Chargers in 2014 but their inability to stop the run was a key component to their missing the playoffs. The big reason? They still have nobody to fill the crucial nose tackle position in the middle of their 3-4 front. That will change with Malcom Brown. Not only does he have the size and strength to man that position, scouts are starting to figure out his ability to penetrate and rush the passer as well. To get him in the second half of the 1st round is a win for the Bolts.. DT

124. Joe: I’m not trying to be short with these explanations — the fact remains that this is the easy pick. Kansas City has to get better at the receiver position. Even with added help in Free Agency, this pick is one that has to be made. If they’re serious about overhauling the WR spot, they need to prove it.. WR. Arizona State. Jaelen Strong. 18. player

53. Geoff: This was a no brainer at 19. I don’t have no idea how Clemmings fell here. This kid is arguably the best tackle in the Draft and he can come in and slot in at right tackle for the Browns for years to come. Clemmings, combined with the likes of Joe Thomas and Joel Bitonio, will provide whoever the Browns quarterback is next season and beyond with great pass protection.. OT. Pittsburgh. T.J. Clemmings. 19. player

Marcus Peters. 20. player. 54. Tyler: Don’t think in real life that the Eagles will keep this pick but if they do, Marcus Peters should be the guy. Talent-wise he may be the top corner in this class. Off the field issues have been a problem, causing a slide in his stock. Maxwell and Peters could provide an impressive duo for the future. . CB.
