QB. Oregon. Marcus Mariota. 5. player. 51. Erik: This was a trade and a pick that had to happen.  Sam Bradford had his chance.  It’s unfortunate he never really took advantage because of two ill-timed knee injuries but the St. Louis Rams need to get their quarterback in place now.  This roster is young, talented and ready to start taking the next step towards becoming a contender.  That won’t happen until they get somebody reliable under center.  Marcus Mariota isn’t attune to a pro-style offense yet, but he’s talented, smart and a hard worker.  It shouldn’t take him long to learn, especially under a veteran coach like Jeff Fisher.

EDGE. Florida. Dante Fowler Jr.. 6. player. 30. Sayre Bedinger: Fowler Jr. is one of the quickest players off the ball that I have scouted in this year’s draft class. This is one of the deepest in terms of overall pass rush talent, and Fowler Jr. may be the cream of the crop. He is so explosive, and just what the Jets need coming off the edge in Todd Bowles’ defense. After trading for Brandon Marshall already this offseason, adding pieces to the defense through the draft will be huge for New York’s playoff chances.

60. Geoff: Charles Johnson has been below average at guard, so the Vikings are going to be looking to upgrade. Schreff is the best guard in the draft, making trading up (even if it was with the Bears) well worth it. He will be a welcomed addition to the Vikings offensive line. Schreff will help Bridgewater’s progression and the Vikings’ run game, providing solid play, both in run and pass protection.. OT. Iowa. Brandon Scherff. 7. player

Nebraska. Randy Gregory. 8. player. 44. George Stockburger: The Falcons have lacked even a decent pass rush for several seasons now. Jonathan Babineaux is getting up there in age and no one else on their team has developed into what they were expected to be. Gregory brings in the versatility to be either a defensive end or a 3-4 outside linebacker, both positions the Falcons desperately need to address.. DE
