October 5, 2014; Santa Clara, CA, USA; San Francisco 49ers guard Mike Iupati (77) lines up during the third quarter against the Kansas City Chiefs at Levi

Offensive Guards

player. 48. Unquestionably the best guard on the market, Mike Iupati could easily go to whomever pays the most but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pull a rabbit out of their hat by luring the All-Pro to sunny Florida.  He fills a major need for them on the interior offensive line.. OG. San Francisco. Mike Iupati. 1

OG. Denver. Orlando Franklin. 2. player. 31. They aren’t active most of the time but the New York Giants have a way of operating in free agency with surgical precision, filling a key need with an underrated player.  They do so again here by swiping solid guard Orlando Franklin to put in front of the “other” Manning as they work to continue bolstering the offensive front.

3. player. 56. The Cincinnati Bengals have always preferred to keep their own players and this is what happens with Clint Boling. The guard had a standout year and proved one of their keys to the dominant run game they engineered during most of last season.. OG. Cincinnati. Clint Boling

OG. Carolina. Fernando Velasco. 4. player. 87. He wasn’t the star of the show but the Carolina Panthers were glad to have Fernando Velasco up front for stability.  He’s only 30-years old and won’t command any sort of expensive deal to retain.  Expect him to stay put in Charlotte.
