Safeties

53. Easily the biggest sleeper among defenders in free agency.  Tashaun Gipson is a turnover machine and an ideal free safety who is masked by the injury he suffered last season.  The Browns would be completely stupid to let him walk, but will have an easy time retaining him since he’s restricted.. FS. Cleveland. Tashaun Gipson. 1. player

Will Hill. 2. player. 26. The same can be said for Will Hill.  Baltimore is in position to match any offer he receives and after posting a solid season for them in 2014, it’s clear the team will want him back patrolling center field as Ozzie Newsome looks to shuffle the deck a bit.. FS. Baltimore

57. As 2014 goes, it wasn’t the best season for Rahim Moore, but history proves he can be a very productive safety.  He did have four interceptions last season.  The Bears haven’t had a real safety in years and Moore may like the idea of rejoining head coach John Fox in Chicago.. FS. Denver. Rahim Moore. 3. player

Jacksonville is anxious to get somebody next to Cyprien on the back end of their defense.  Da’Norris Searcy is a name that doesn’t register much, but it should.  He was one of the better safeties in the league last season and proved himself an excellent run defender (+5.6 PFF rating).. SS. Buffalo. Da'Norris Searcy. 4. player. 52
