4th Round

49. Watching the tape of Titus Davis, people would swear they were looking at a carbon copy of Antonio Brown.  Same school.  Even the same number.  Davis is a solid route runner with good speed who shows the awareness of where the soft spots are in coverage and the good hands to make tough catches, especially in the end zone.. WR. Central Michigan. Titus Davis. 126. player

5th Round

49. Nothing about him is “special” in terms of athletic skill but Austin Shepherd is a big, tough and technically-sound tackle coming from a pro-style offense.  He can block both ways well but pass protection seems like his calling, which would suit the Packers just fine.  He’ll make a great swing lineman early on with the ability to work for a starting job later on.. OT. Alabama. Austin Shepherd. 158. player

6th Round

The late rounds are about projects with upside.  Obum Gwacham fits that bill.  He has only played defense for one season, switching from wide receiver last year.  His strength isn’t where it needs to be yet, but teams are quickly noticing his explosiveness and athleticism off the edge.  If he can develop properly, he has long-term starter upside as a pass rusher.. DE. Oregon State. Obum Gwacham. 190. player. 49

7th Round

N.C. State. Wil Baumann. 222. player. 49. Tim Masthay has not had the best go of things over the past two seasons for Green Bay.  He has finished 20th or worse in net punting average.  Don’t be surprised if Ted Thompson brings in some competition.  Wil Baumann would be a great challenge.  The kid is a 6’6″ tower who can boom it when he wants but also shows a touch when required.  Everybody loves a punting competition after all..
