Nightmares of the NFC championship still linger for some Green Bay Packers.  Sadly they don’t have time to ponder the what-ifs.  Another season is fast approaching and they need to get things right with this coming draft.  Here are their latest mock picks in our Green Bay Packers mock draft 2.0.

1st Round

player. 49. Whether B.J. Raji returns or not, the Packers have to get better against the run and that starts up front.  They need a powerful presence in the middle at nose tackle.  Eddie Goldman is that typical huge type of a Vince Wilfork, but he’s big enough and sports an excellent power base that makes it very hard for teams to run anywhere near him.. DT. Florida State. Eddie Goldman. 30

2nd Round

ILB. Miami (Fl.). Denzel Perryman. 62. player. 49. A.J. Hawk is gone, so the urgency is ever great for the Packers to find help at inside linebacker.  Denzel Perryman may not be a flashy athlete but the Miami product is a destroyer of ball carriers.  He goes sideline to sideline yielding bad intentions and can deliver tone-setting hits.  That overshadows how good of a player he is.  Not ideal speed but a good fit nonetheless.

3rd Round

player. 49. Highly intelligent player with desired size and physicality for 3-4 defense.  Scouts get on him about his deep speed but Alex Carter proved several times at Stanford that he has enough to get the job done.  His instincts are solid and he has the body type to switch to safety if need be in injury emergencies.. CB. Stanford. Alex Carter. 94
