Round Four

RB. Florida State. Karlos Williams. 4. player. 123. Sticking with the Florida State guys, I like the Cowboys to draft a running back at some point in this class. Here, Karlos Williams provides a great fit for what the Cowboys need. There’s obviously question marks surrounding the position for 2015 — whatever happens, this pick has a lot of value late in the fourth round.

Round Five

Here’s a guy that is much better than advertised. Bell shined on tape in 2014, showing a very good ability to be athletic with his plus build. He’ll fall, but the Cowboys are in a perfect spot to grab a sleeper like Bell. They need a WR more than many believe, something Dallas fans know better than anybody. They can do very well if they make this pick.. WR. Nebraska. Kenny Bell. 5. player. 123

Round Six

McDonald is a risk, but Dallas is in a great spot to take a big one, so that’s no concern here. I’ll be honest and tell you that I’ve seen very limited tape on McDonald. However, from what I have seen, I’ve been able to spotlight a guy that could emerge as a gamer at the next level. He has many flaws (he was kicked out of UCLA for failed drug tests), but a team like the Cowboys could provide the perfect landing spot for a guy who truly has natural ability.. S. Eastern Washington. Tevin McDonald. 6. player. 123

Round Seven

C. Miami. Shane McDermott. 7. player. 123. I don’t mean to bore you with this pick, I really don’t. McDermott flashed on film several times (yes, that’s possible for a center) when watching the rest of the Hurricanes offensive line. With NFL coaching — especially behind the unit in Dallas — he could turn into a very viable backup in the NFL.
