43. Chicago Bears (from Browns)

Sayre: After picking Danny Shelton in the first round, I was excited to cash in on the depth of edge rushers in this class. Nate Orchard, a Senior Bowl standout, was perhaps the most productive of them all this past season. He is so disruptive and can come off the edge, contributing early for the Bears.. Edge Rusher. Utah. Nate Orchard. 43. player. 57

44. New Orleans Saints

player. 15. Joe: The future of New Orleans could certainly be Brett Hundley. We know the Saints need to take a QB, and we know Hundley needs a few years to learn. Here’s the perfect fit!. Quarterback. UCLA. Brett Hundley. 44

45. Minnesota Vikings

Offensive Lineman. Florida State. Josue Matias. 45. player. 60. George: Charles Johnson is not the answer at left guard for the Vikings after this past season and Joe Berger is a threat to leave in free agency. Matias can come in and protect Teddy Bridgewater from either side of the line and create a piece to build around.

46. San Francisco 49ers

Tyler: With Justin Smith unsure about his future and Ray McDonald no longer on the team, Mario Edwards can become a potential stud on the D-Line. Edwards has loads of potential and is an intriguing prospect who can play in a 3-4 or 4-3.. Defensive Line. Florida State. Mario Edwards. 46. player. 42

47. Miami Dolphins

Jordan Phillips. 47. player. 59. Sayre: Jordan Phillips is considered by many to be a top-25 player in this draft, but medicals could push him down the board. I feel like the Dolphins would love to cash in on his fall here in the 2nd round, also filling a huge void in their defense.. Defensive Tackle. Oklahoma

48. San Diego Chargers

Washington. Hau'oli Kikaha. 48. player. 13. Chris: If all the medicals end up checking out on Kikaha, it’s unlikely he’ll last this long. The Chargers need a dominant EDGE presence, and Kikaha, with 19.5 sacks last season, is only just beginning to become the player he’s meant to be.. Edge Rusher

49. Kansas City Chiefs

124. Erik: His combine may have hurt him a bit, but to fall into the second half of the 2nd round?  The Kansas City Chiefs won’t complain at all.  Paul Dawson is an excellent football player with instincts, field speed and athleticism.  He has the toughness for inside linebacker, which is precisely where Andy Reid will need him for that defense.. Linebacker. TCU. Paul Dawson. 49. player

50. Buffalo Bills

Colorado State. Ty Sambrailo. 50. player. 16. Charles: The Bills are stuck with EJ Manuel for another season, so they might as well upgrade the line. Seantrel Henderson struggled as a rookie and Cyrus Kouandijo hasn’t been promising. Sambrailo could be a sleeper pick at tackle, he offers good athletic ability and nice upside.. Offensive Tackle

51. Houston Texans

51. player. 10. Geoff: Dorsett is a very good receiver who shined at the combine. Andre Johnson is getting older and it may be time to start thinking about drafting more weapons in preparation of Johnson’s departure. Even with Johnson on the team, Dorsett, Hopkins and Johnson will compete be one of the top receiving corps in the NFL over the next few seasons.. Wide Receiver. Miami. Phillip Dorsett

52. Philadelphia Eagles

Wide Receiver. UCF. Breshad Perriman. 52. player. 54. Joe: I wanted Phillip Dorsett here, so I had to make this pick on the fly. Ultimately, I’m happy how this worked out. Perriman is extremely raw, but he has the potential to do some very big things in the NFL.
