DT. Detroit. Ndamukong Suh. 7. player. 30. This could turn out to be the bomb of NFL free agency.  Everybody is hinting Ndamukong Suh is going to the west coast, perhaps Seattle or Oakland.  However, people forget the earliest rumors listed New York as his preferred destination.  That is why the New York Jets will fortify a terrifying defensive front by uniting Suh with Sheldon Richardson and Muhammad Wilkerson.

8. player. 50. Given the fact they’re likely to lose Suh, the Detroit Lions are smart enough to know they can’t afford to lose Nick Fairley as well.  They will do what it takes to get him back, keeping their interior pass rusher intact.. DT. Detroit. Nick Fairley

DT. Denver. Terrance Knighton. 9. player. 28. A big run plugger in the middle is something the Oakland Raiders could really use.  Terrance Knighton is a great choice in that regard.  His huge frame, quickness and power made him an anchor in the middle for Denver and should do the same for the Raiders, freeing up Khalil Mack and others for pass rush duties.

It’s a really hard sell to think Stephen Paea will return to Chicago as they seem destined for the 3-4.  That means Paea could be on the move to a team who better fits his skill set.  The Atlanta Falcons pull off the surprise steal, giving their front some much needed rush up the middle.. DT. Chicago. Stephen Paea. 10. player. 44

DT. Miami. Jared Odrick. 11. player. 57. It’s going to prove difficult for the Miami Dolphins to retain Jared Odrick.  Not only will it be expensive, but it also seems he has no great love for head coach Joe Philbin.  Instead he jumps ship to the Chicago Bears where he makes a great fit as a defensive end in their new 3-4 scheme.

DT. Green Bay. B.J. Raji. 12. player. 49. The Letroy Guion arrest completely changes the situation for the Green Bay Packers.  Already in need of help up front, this development accelerates their need to retain nose tackle B.J. Raji despite his the injury that ended his 2014 season.

56. Pass rush became a problem for the Cincinnati Bengals from all areas.  This could mean they need to add more up front.  Henry Melton might prove a terrific steal.  He’s a great interior rusher who could team with Geno Atkins on passing downs to play havoc on the AFC North quarterbacks.. DT. Dallas. Henry Melton. 13. player

player. 13. One of the more understated issues for the San Diego Chargers was the poor performance of their run defense (26th in 2014).  A big part of that is improving the nose tackle position.  Dan Williams was sturdy at that position for Arizona, so he makes a great option for the Bolts.. DT. Arizona. Dan Williams. 14

Gerald McCoy is the main man for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the middle, but they still could use somebody next to him who can help against the run.  That proved the specialty for Corey Peters in Atlanta, making him a quietly solid upgrade for Tampa.. DT. Atlanta. Corey Peters. 15. player. 48
