player. 10. Charles: It was tempting to add Landon Collins with this pick, but if the Texans are going to usurp Andrew Luck and the Colts, they’re going to have to upgrade their pass defense. Marcus Peters can be a knucklehead but there’s no denying his ability as a cover corner. A locker room spearheaded by Bill O’Brien and J.J. Watt should be able to keep Peters under control.. CB. Washington. Marcus Peters. 16

player. 13. Fisher is the tackle that everyone is ignoring, who could end up being the best to come out of this class. His tape is impressive, as is the way he has a feel for the position. He’ll go higher than many believe.. OT. Oregon. Jake Fisher. 17

player. 124. Erik: If they can’t get a receiver, then the Kansas City Chiefs must bolster their offensive line. Their tackle positions are both questionable, so a high upside talent like T.J. Clemmings makes a ton of sense.. OT. Pittsburgh. TJ Clemmings. 18

Tyler: The Browns need pass rushers. Dupree will add much needed quarterback pressure to that defense. He will be an immediate upgrade.. EDGE. Kentucky. Alvin Dupree. 19. player. 53

54. George: The Eagles defense enters the 2015 season with only one solidified safety in Malcolm Jenkins. They haven’t had a homegrown safety since Brian Dawkins, and have been looking for a suitable replacement since the end of the 2008 season. Collins will bring much needed size and durability to a starving Philadelphia secondary.. S. Alabama. Landon Collins. 20. player

Washington. Shaq Thompson. 21. player. 56. Geoff: The Bengals could really use some speed and versatility at the outside linebacker position and Shaq Thompson is the perfect player to help take an already great defense to the next level. Thompson is extremely quick for an outside linebacker and has the versatility to be the predator (pass rushing) and the jack (coverage) linebacker in the 3-4 system.. LB

Florida State. PJ Williams. 22. player. 55. Sayre: The Steelers obviously need a cornerback, and Williams is a player who really fits what they like to do on that side of the ball. He is aggressive, he can blitz, and as a rookie, he can start off playing a nickel role and transition to the outside corner spot. They’ll love his experience and versatility.. CB

DL. Iowa. Carl Davis. 23. player. 50. Charles: Ndamukong Suh, Nick Fairley, and C.J. Mosley are all free agents. They’re bound to lose one or two of those players so a defensive tackle will be in play early on. Carl Davis is a great athlete at defensive tackle and is a perfect fit in their defense as a penetrating force on the interior.
