Chicago Bears

Best Pick – Matt Forte, RB, 44th Overall in 2008

Forte has been one of the best all-around backs in the NFL since the Bears drafted him out of Tulane. He has amassed 7,704 rushing yards and 3,727 receiving yards in his career with the Bears. This past season he caught 102 passes, a career high and good for 4th in the NFL. His receiving ability has been instrumental for the Bears over the past seven years.

Other selections considered:

Devin Hester, CB/WR/Return, 57th Overall in 2006

Alshon Jeffrey, WR, 45th Overall in 2012

Kyle Long, OL, 20th Overall in 2013

Worst Pick – Cedric Benson, RB, 4th Overall in 2005

This one was easy. Cedric Benson is the highest Bears draft pick in the last 10 years, and he is easily the biggest bust. He struggled to earn playing time over Thomas Jones during his time with the Bears and took the Bears through a nasty signing process with his rookie contract.

Benson only totaled 1,593 yards on a poor 3.8 yards per carry in three seasons with the Bears.

Others selections considered:

Chris Williams, OT, 14th Overall in 2008

Gabe Carimi, OT/G, 29th Overall in 2011
