Best Pick – LeSean McCoy, RB, 53rd Overall in 2009

“Shady” McCoy is one the most electrifying running backs in the NFL today. He’s rushed more more than 1,000 yards in 4 of his 6 seasons with the Eagles, and is a perfect fit for Chip Kelly’s fast paced offense. LeSean McCoy has established himself as an elite running back in the NFL and is capable of carrying the load, a special trait as more and more teams move to a committee style backfield.

Other selections considered:

Trent Cole, DE, 146th Overall in 2005

Brent Celek, TE, 162nd Overall in 2007

DeSean Jackson, WR, 49th Overall in 2008

Jeremy Maclin, WR, 19th Overall in 2009

Fletcher Cox, DL, 12th Overall in 2012

Mychal Kendricks, LB, 46th Overall in 2012

Worst Pick – Danny Watkins, OG, 23rd Overall in 2011

The selection of Danny Watkins follows the horrid blueprint of the Cleveland Browns in their pick of Old Man Brandon Weeden in 2012. Danny Watkins was 26 at the time the Eagles pulled the trigger on him in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. It was just a silly move and Watkins didn’t last long in the NFL and was released after two seasons with the Eagles.

Other selections considered:

Broderick Bunkley, DT, 14th Overall in 2006

Nate Allen, S, 37th Overall in 2010

Marcus Smith, LB, 26th Overall in 2014
