Best Pick – Andrew Luck, QB, 1st Overall in 2012

Anytime you find a franchise quarterback in the draft, it’s going to be your best pick. Andrew Luck has been one of the most brilliant quarterbacks over the past three years and is already considered among the league’s elite even with a sub-par supporting cast.

If General Manager Ryan Grigson can build a defense in Indianapolis, the Colts will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.

Other selections considered:

Pierre Garçon, WR, 205th Overall in 2008

T.Y. Hilton, WR, 92nd Overall in 2012

Worst Pick – Jerry Hughes, DE, 31st Overall in 2010

This was difficult as the Colts haven’t missed on too many of their first round picks of the past decade. Hughes, while he has played very well for the Bills, was a bust for the Colts. He struggled to earn playing time over Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis (rightfully so) and never made an impact during his time in Indianapolis.

Other selections considered:

Anthony Gonzalez, WR, 32nd Overall in 2007

Donald Brown, RB, 27th Overall in 2009
