Green Bay Packers
Best Pick – Aaron Rodgers, QB, 24th Overall in 2005
Too easy.
Aaron Rodgers is considered by some to be the best quarterback in the game and he is fresh off of his second MVP award. Any year that the is behind center for the Green Bay Packers, they have a chance to win the Super Bowl. Rodgers is elite and no Packers selection in past ten years lives up to what Rodgers has accomplished.
Other selections considered:
Jordy Nelson, WR, 36th Overall in 2008
Clay Matthews, LB, 26th Overall in 2009
T.J. Lang, OG, 109th Overall in 2009
Randall Cobb, WR, 64th Overall in 2011
Worst Pick – Ahmad Carroll, CB, 25th Overall in 2004
Anytime you get the nickname “Highway 28” as a defensive back, you know you’re doing something wrong. Carroll was horrendous for the Packers and was routinely burnt by opposing wide receivers. He gave up so many long completions and drew so many pass interference and illegal contact penalties, that the Packers cut him halfway through the 2006 season.
Other selections considered:
Justin Harrell, DT, 16th Overall in 2007
Brian Brohm, QB, 56th Overall in 2008
