46. It was subtle, but over the final stretch of the 2014 season Hakeem Nicks really started to make some plays for the Indianapolis Colts.  They need all the help they can get for Andrew Luck and should be able to retain the veteran receiver at a reasonable price.. WR. Indianapolis. Hakeem Nicks. 5. player

6. player. 124. At age 34, Wes Welker knows he can’t expect any big pay day in NFL free agency this time around.  His time with the Broncos appears over, but he can still bring value to a team in need of help.  The Kansas City Chiefs make a ton of sense because they’re thin at the position and they can afford what should be a cheap price for his services.. WR. Denver. Wes Welker

53. One could not blame Cecil Shorts for seeking out the biggest contract he can find on the market.  He’s endured a lot of hardship in Jacksonville and may be facing his only serious chance at a good pay day.  The Cleveland Browns have plenty of cash to spend and a glaring need at receiver.. WR. Jacksonville. Cecil Shorts. 7. player

WR. Philadelphia. Jeremy Maclin. 8. player. 54. The Philadelphia Eagles have enough problems on defense to fix.  The last thing they need is to lose their best receiver, who was clearly Jeremy Maclin in 2014.  They have enough money to give him what he wants and still have room left to maneuver.

WR. San Francisco. Michael Crabtree. 9. player. 16. A lot of change could be coming for the 49ers, and that includes the possible exit of Michael Crabtree.  He may want out, and if so a likely destination could be the Buffalo Bills for three reasons.  They have the money to afford him.  They have a players coach in Rex Ryan and Crabtree’s former offensive coordinator Greg Roman.  They have Sammy Watkins.
