4. player. 52. Phillips has 2nd/3rd round talent, but his major red flag of a back issue will set him back on many team’s boards. For interior defensive linemen to have a back surgery on their resume, they have to be 100% elite. Phillips has impressive skill-sets, but they aren’t enough to mask the back issue. He’ll likely slip into the third round, and if teams are still shying away by then, it’s safe to say the Jaguars would have a serious discussion at the top of the fourth.. DT. Oklahoma. Jordan Phillips

Other options at DT in Round Four

Gabe Davis — Auburn

Round Five

The Jaguars can and should double up on defensive linemen in this front-seven rich class. Barnes declared early, but his skill-set says that he has the ability to enter a camp and compete for a starting job immediately. The Jaguars could use a legitimate guy in that 4-3 defense to rush the passer, and Barnes can provide just that.. DE. Penn State. Deion Barnes. 5. player. 52

Other options at DL in Round Five

Tyeler Davidson — Fresno State

Round Six

6. player. 52. Sometimes, the small-school draft picks prove to be the steals of the NFL’s “Spring Classic”. This season, McBride seems to be the receiver that could be looked at as one of those once all is said and done. With the great news on Justin Blackmon yesterday, it might not seem that Jacksonville desperately needs another young wideout. However, what’s adding another weapon for Blake Bortles going to hurt?. WR. William & Mary. Tre McBride

Round Seven

Terry Williams. 7. player. 52. Why not continue to bolster the defense into the final round? Williams is an underrated prospect that will impress scouts with his huge size and short-area quickness. He comes with baggage, but has major upside for a seventh round selection.. DT. East Carolina
