The Jacksonville Jaguars have the potential to make major improvements this offseason, but it’ll take an elite 2015 NFL Draft class to get them into playoff contention. Here, we make some predictions for players that would work with Gus Bradley’s unit in our Jacksonville Jaguars mock draft.

Instead of a conventional mock draft, this piece throws out the best possible answer to each one of Jacksonville’s needs, listing prospects that would fit both availability and need in each round.

Round One

Iowa. Brandon Scherff. 1. player. 52. For starters, the interior line in Jacksonville is shaping up nicely. Last year’s selection of Brandon Linder was a future-builder, and the Jags should be proud of that. Addressing the need at tackle needs to happen early, and there’s no better start than drafting the former Iowa standout, the best tackle in this class. After leading the league in sacks allowed in 2014, Jacksonville’s O-Line has to step up and ultimately build towards Blake Bortles’ third and fourth years.. OL

Other options at OT in Round One

Andrus Peat — Stanford

Round Two

Other options at LB in Round Two

Denzel Perryman — Miami, Paul Dawson — TCU

Round Three

52. Ajayi was one of the biggest risers in the 2014 season, raising his stock by showing burst, hitting holes hard, and using cutbacks to be effective in the open field. With just Storm Johnson and Denard Robinson as potential options looking ahead to next season, it’d be wise for Jacksonville to grab Ajayi if he falls into the third round.. RB. Boise State. Jay Ajayi. 3. player

Other options at RB in Round Three

Duke Johnson — Miami, Cameron Artis-Payne, Auburn
