Sep 13, 2014; Gainesville, FL, USA; Kentucky Wildcats defensive end Za

Alvin Dupree. 21. player. 56. Cincinnati somehow made the playoffs while finishing with the least amount of sacks in the NFL with a putrid 20 sacks on the season. They need an upgrade on the edge across from Carlos Dunlap who accounted for 8 of those 20 sacks. Alvin Dupree would be a perfect fit in Cincy’s defense, helping them fortify their run defense while adding an explosive pass rusher off the edge.. DE/OLB. Kentucky

55. If the Steelers are going to rebuild their defense back into the dominating unit it used to be, they’re going to need to revive a pass rush that used to a strength for them. Jarvis Jones has offered very little in terms of getting to the quarterback while Jason Worilds is an impending free agent. Vic Beasley, who I think is <a title=. OLB. Clemson. Vic Beasley. 22. player

23. player. 50. It’s going to be difficult for the Lions to resign Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley this offseason. Realistically, it doesn’t make much sense for the Lions to tie up so much money between two players who play the same position. This is going to leave a huge hole in the middle of their defensive line. They’re going to have to pick a defensive tackle early in the draft to help soften the blow of losing Fairley, Suh, or even both. Edwards didn’t always play up to his potential at Florida State, but defensive coordinator Teryl Austin should be able to get the most out of him.. DT. Florida State. Mario Edwards

player. 32. Arizona has some uncertainty in their linebacking corps. Larry Foote will be 35 at the start of the 2015 NFL season, and the Cardinals should probably be looking for a younger option regardless as Foote’s playing days are probably behind him. The other issue is Daryl Washington — a guy who can’t stay out of trouble off the field. If the Cardinals decide not to bring either of them back next season, they’re going to need to use an early selection on a middle linebacker. Eric Kendricks, the younger brother of Eagles standout Mychal Kendricks, would be a nice addition for their defense.. MLB. UCLA. Eric Kendricks. 24

87. If Cam Newton is going to take the step in becoming an elite quarterback, he’s going to need some help. Kelvin Benjamin and Greg Olsen are talented receivers, but the offense still lacks some firepower. Sammie Coates is an extremely physically gifted player, but he needs some refinement in his route running abilities.. WR. Auburn. Sammie Coates. 25. player

Florida State. P.J. Williams. 26. player. 26. The Ravens had a chance to advance to the AFC Championship Game, but they blew two separate 14-point leads and lost to the Patriots 35-31 in the Divisional Round. Their secondary was incompetent in that game as they sorely missed Jimmy Smith, who was stellar until he was knocked out for the season with a lisfranc injury at the end of October. P.J. Williams was a piece to a very talented Seminoles secondary, and would provide competition with Lardarius Webb and a potential upgrade across from Jimmy Smith.. CB

Malcom Brown. 27. player. 123. The Cowboys have spent a ton of resources to ensure that their offensive line is among the league’s elite. It’s time to give the defensive line that same treatment if the Cowboys want to venture deeper into the playoffs. Henry Melton is going to be a free agent this offseason and they should attempt to bring him back if the price is right. Melton is a good interior pass rusher, but he doesn’t offer much in terms of run support. Here, the Cowboys choose a local product in Malcom Brown to bolster the interior of the DL.. DT. Texas

28. player. 45. If Peyton Manning decides to come back for one more season, offensive line protection will be priority number one for the Broncos this offseason. Cameron Erving can be plugged into any of the offensive line positions and be a fixture on the Denver line for the forseeable future. He would be an immediate upgrade at RT.. OT/G/C. Florida State. Cameron Erving

29. player. 46. It’s clear that the Colts desparately need to upgrade their pass rush. Robert Mathis isn’t getting any younger and Bjoern Werner has only shown flashes since being a first round pick in 2013. Markus Golden is the other half of the Missouri pass rushing duo, and he would be a nice piece to add to emerging pass rusher Jonathan Newsome, while adding competition and depth at the outside linebacker position.. DE/OLB. Missouri. Markus Golden

Denzel Perryman. 30. player. 49. A.J. Hawk can’t get significant playing time for the Packers forever. He’s long been a liability on defense that needs to be upgraded. The Packers need a linebacker who ia strong against the run and able to play against zone-read quarterbacks. Denzel Perryman would be a nice fit in the middle of Green Bay’s defense, allowing Clay Matthews to go back to his more natural fit at outside linebacker.. MLB. Miami

Devin Smith. 31. player. 36. The Seahawks receivers continue to make clutch plays when it matters the most, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t need an injection of talent and playmaking ability. Devin Smith averaged a ridiculous 28.2 yards per catch this past season for the Buckeyes. He has phenomenal deep speed and has a knack for making big plays when it’s crunch time. Smith was born to be a Seahawk.. WR. Ohio State

Oklahoma. Jordan Phillips. 32. player. 47. With the last pick in the Round One, the Patriots add some beef in the middle of their defensive line. At 6’6″, 334lbs, Jordan Phillips has the size to stuff the run from day one. He also generates surprising push as a pass rusher for a man of his size. The Patriots could bring Phillips along slowly where he’ll eventually take over for Vince Wilfork once the Patriots decide to move on from him.. DT
