THIRD ROUND

DT. Rice. Christian Covington. 3. player. 49. The small-school Covington is going to make some NFL team very happy. Despite not playing elite competition at Rice, he absolutely dominated every time the tape was turned on in the scouting process. The Packers need big guys in the trenches, and Covington can bring a presence that will be welcomed for the cheese-heads in Green Bay.

Other options at DT in Round 3

Tyeler Davidson, Fresno State, Gabe Wright, Auburn

FOURTH ROUND

4. player. 49. While I’ve yet to dive very deep into the tight end pool for 2015, I have seen Koyack. He’s the best blocker in this class and will be considered a steal if he falls this far. There’s no denying what he did at the line of scrimmage with the Irish; the questions will come in the passing game. At the end of the day, Green Bay can benefit from a strong addition at the TE spot.. TE. Notre Dame. Ben Koyack

FIFTH ROUND

Auburn. Cameron Artis-Payne. 5. player. 49. While this is another “in an ideal world” pick, the point here is simple: the Packers will take a running back here if they can get a fantastic value. Artis-Payne is a stocky back that hits the hole well. He can make something happen, and would be a fantastic duo with another former SEC superstar, Eddie Lacy.. RB

Other options at RB in Round 5

Jeremy Langford, Michigan State, Mike Davis, South Carolina

SIXTH ROUND

WR. Duke. Jamison Crowder. 6. player. 49. Due to the impressive WR group this year, Crowder might just fall into Green Bay’s hands towards the end of the draft. Teams will shy away due to his lack of size and electric playmaking ability, but the Packers can benefit here. He’s a major workhorse that produced very well at Duke. Aaron Rodgers would love having Crowder to work with in the offense.

Other options at WR in Round 6

Ezell Ruffin, San Diego State, Kenny Bell, Nebraska

SEVENTH ROUND

7. player. 49. Offensive line depth is much needed in Green Bay. They need to continue building a unit in front of Aaron Rodgers — there’s nothing wrong with grabbing an extra security blanket. Poole is an underrated prospect that will surprise some folks when they watch his film.. OT. San Diego State. Terry Poole
