It’s time for a Green Bay Packers mock draft (all seven rounds) after yesterday’s incredible Championship Sunday. The Packers got knocked out in the NFC Championship Game, falling 28-22 to a Seattle Seahawks team looking to be repeat Super Bowl champions.
The needs are endless for Green Bay this season, but there’s no denying where the biggest holes lie: the defensive side of the football. Down the stretch, it was the secondary and linebacking corps that hurt and ultimately cost Green Bay games. You won’t be hearing any Packer fans complaining if this team goes secondary first in April.
In this “mock draft”, we’ll be laying out options for the Packers in each round of the draft. We’ll start with the best option, followed by other prospects that should be on the board that may be worth taking at the time.
To start things off, let’s look at the Round One option:
FIRST ROUND
Other options at LB in Round 1
Miami LB Denzel Perryman, UCLA Erik Kendricks
SECOND ROUND
Other options at CB in Round 2
PJ Williams, Florida State, Senquez Golson, Ole Miss
