2015 NFL Mock Draft: Raiders Get Trade Fury Started
By Erik Lambert
#25 – Detroit Lions – Melvin Gordon – RB – Wisconsin
Trumping Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay takes three keys. The Detroit Lions have two of them in defense and a good quarterback under center. Now they need the final piece, which is a running back who will get first downs. Melvin Gordon does that and a bunch (bunch) more.
#26 – Seattle Seahawks – Todd Gurley – RB – Georgia
Here’s the thing. Marshawn Lynch could be gone for the Seattle Seahawks in 2015, and realistically they have nobody who can replace him. That is unless they draft Todd Gurley from Georgia.
#27 – Indianapolis Colts (f/CIN) – Denzel Perryman – ILB – Miami
D’Qwell Jackson wasn’t a bad addition for the Indianapolis Colts at inside linebacker but they still need some help at that position. Denzel Perryman could be that missing link with his fiery spirit, hitting and tackling prowess and instinct for the game.
#28 – Philadelphia Eagles – Gerod Holliman – FS – Louisville
There will always be offense as long as Chip Kelly is around for the Philadelphia Eagles, which means this 2015 NFL mock draft is all about defense. Adding a ball hawk at safety like Gerod Holliman is precisely what this team calls for.
