2015 NFL Mock Draft: Raiders Get Trade Fury Started
By Erik Lambert
#17 – Cleveland Browns (f/BUF) – Benardrick McKinney – ILB – Mississippi State
The defense is good but there are still holes for the Browns to fill. One problematic area is inside linebacker. They need more speed and athleticism. Benardrick McKinney has both, as well as size and instincts to make plays.
#18 – Kansas City Chiefs – DeVante Parker – WR – Louisville
Running the ball is all fine and good, but the Kansas City Chiefs will never be Super Bowl contenders until they get more from their passing game. That means receivers. DeVante Parker is big with good hands, deceptive explosion and #1 target traits.
#19 – San Francisco 49ers – Devin Funchess – WR – Michigan
Leaning on the defense can only go so far before the San Francisco 49ers have to realize that they need more from their quarterback, who needs more firepower at receiver. Devin Funchess is a versatile weapons with the size for tight end but the speed for receiver.
#20 – Chicago Bears (f/DAL) – Eddie Goldman – DT – Florida State
Phil Emery used a bad season and turned it to his advantage. With extra picks to help him reload the roster, he continues his work on rebuilding the Chicago Bears defense. Eddie Goldman is big and strong against the run and has the violent hands and motor to get after the quarterback.
