2015 NFL Mock Draft: Raiders Get Trade Fury Started
By Erik Lambert
#13 – Dallas Cowboys (f/CHI via HOU) – Trae Waynes – CB – Michigan State
Trade: #20 pick and 2nd in ’15 for Bears #13 pick
Jerry Jones never fears the bold move. His Dallas Cowboys defense has improved but they are still lacking at corner so Jones goes up to get one. Trae Waynes is a Rod Marinelli type of guy: big, tough, physical and good in all phases of playing defense.
#14 – Pittsburgh Steelers – Danny Shelton – DT – Washington
The reason they were so good for so many years on defense was because the Pittsburgh Steelers dominated the line of scrimmage. They don’t do that anymore. Adding a large gap plugger like Danny Shelton who can also rush the passer would do wonders.
#15 – Cleveland Browns – Kevin White – WR – West Virginia
Johnny Manziel is fixing to start his career with the Cleveland Browns and they must do everything possible to ensure his success. That means more receivers, with or without Josh Gordon. Kevin White is another big target who also boasts explosiveness and big play ability.
#16 – Baltimore Ravens – Vic Beasley – DE – Clemson
The defense is relying too much on a couple of 30+ pass rushers in Suggs and Dumervil. Ozzie Newsome has to reload the pipeline. Vic Beasley has that skill set of being able to come around the edge or turn inside and collapse the pocket.
