Houston Texans at New York Giants
Experts continue to try to figure out what the problem is with Eli Manning. Is it physical, mental or is it his team? Put simply the Giants look lifeless. Meanwhile the Texans have an identity, they’re 2-0 and riding momentum behind a great defense.
Result: HOU 21, NYG 10
Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles
The question that is beginning to surface around the NFL is who can stick with the Eagles for 60 minutes? DeSean Jackson seems hell bent on making sure Washington is the first. He should get help from a resurgent defense but it won’t be easy.
Result: WAS 34, PHI 31
Dallas Cowboys at St. Louis Rams
It’s crazy. It’s almost like Dallas is better on the road than they are in their own building and the opposite appears true for the Rams. If that’s the case, then the selection is obvious. Truthfully, a balanced Cowboys offense will dictate this contest.
Result: DAL 24, STL 20
San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals
Much of this game will depend on the health of Carson Palmer. Arizona covered up his loss against the listless Giants but they won’t have that same luck against an ornery 49ers team fresh off the biggest humiliation of the Jim Harbaugh era.
Result: SF 27, ARI 17
