Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions
He may have managed a comeback against the Jets, but Aaron Rodgers knows he’ll need his chin strap buckled because the Detroit Lions have become a monstrous opponent at Ford Field. Their pass rush could really expose the Packers’ problems up front.

Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars
Two narrow losses have put a sense of urgency into Andrew Luck. His Colts are falling into a dangerous hole they can’t afford to linger in. Drawing Jacksonville here is nice, but they can’t afford to get caught looking ahead. They won’t.

Oakland Raiders at New England Patriots
Their first two games were supposed to be the easy ones for the Oakland Raiders. Now 0-2, they have to head east to Foxborough against Patriots team back to their customary form after trouncing Minnesota and eager to open 2014 at home.

Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints
Speaking of the Vikings, their season was given a rude awakening with the Adrian Peterson mess. It’s not ideal for rookie coach Mike Zimmer as he must drag his deflated troops down to the Superdome against a Saints team that is smarting from an 0-2 start and tough to beat at home.
