Barkevious Mingo – Mingo is another player who is extremely athletic. He gets off the line on the snap as quick as any player I have ever watched. He didn’t have eye popping stats this year at LSU, but he can absolutely get to the QB. Where he lacks is his ability to stop the run and drop back into coverage. He has the athleticism to drop back, however he lacks the experience. As far as playing the run, he needs to add some weight to his frame so he can hold up better in the run game.

Chance Warmack – Joe Thomas is an elite LT in this league and Mitchell Schwartz was very solid this past year, making the all rookie team. The Browns guards however, weren’t as good as their tackle duo. Chance Warmack can step in from day one and give them an all pro caliber guard. He could pair with Thomas, Schwartz and Alex Mack to open up holes for Trent Richardson to run through and help protect whoever plays QB for them next year. This isn’t the sexiest pick, but in the end could net them the best player.

Nov 23, 2012; Ames, Iowa, USA; West Virginia Mountaineers quarterback Geno Smith (12) drops back to pass against the Iowa State Cyclones during the second half at Jack Trice Stadium. West Virginia defeated Iowa State 31-24. Mandatory Credit: Peter G. Aiken-USA TODAY Sports

Geno Smith – This one seems the least likely out of the 5 to me, but I could see a scenario in which they take Smith. It’s already been reported that the Browns were trying to trade for Ryan Mallett and there were rumors that they were shopping Weeden around to see what they could get for him. We all know new regimes mean new QBs and if they aren’t sold on Weeden or McCoy and don’t trade for a QB, then Smith is definitely a possibility.
