Dee Milliner – The Jags weren’t quite as bad in their pass defense as they were against the run, but they were still 11th worst against the pass. Also the Jags released Rashean Mathis and Derek Cox is a FA. They need help at CB and Dee Milliner is the best CB by far in this draft. Milliner will in from day 1 and be their number 1 CB. He put some speed questions to rest at the combine running in the 4.3s. He does still have the shoulder injury but it doesn’t seem to be anything that will hinder him any.

Luke Joeckel – Outside of Monroe, the Jaguars offensive line isn’t very good at all. If they are intent on playing Gabbert, they have to keep him upright. Joeckel can come in and start on the right side straight away and give the Jags a great set of bookends straight away. It will also help open up the run game for MJD who should come back healthy next year. This will not be a sexy pick for the Jaguars, but this will help build the trenches up in front of Gabbert and MJD and help both of them.
