Top Five Remaning Quarterbacks
I’m going to go all Kiper on your today with the best remaining players at each position. First I’ll take a look at quarterbacks.
Quarterbacks that have bee drafted so far:
Andrew Luck (#1 to the Colts)
Robert Griffin III (#2 to the Washington Redskins)
Ryan Tannehill (#8 to the Miami Dolphins)
Brandon Weeden (#21 to the Cleveland Browns)
Top Five Remaining Quarterbacks
1. Brock Osweiler, QB, Arizona State University
The tallest quarteback in the draft. Osweiler is mobile and has a huge arm. Osweiler, however, is very raw. He has less starting experience than Ryan Tannehill. A player that should have gone back to school, but left probably because of the turmoil of the program. Starter upside.
2. Russel Wilson, QB, Wisconsin
The smallest quarterback in the draft. Wilson is mobile, athletic, tough, gritty, a clutch football player. Not even standing 5’11 and with a pretty good, not great arm. Wilson looks like a first rounder if he was 6’4 220 pounds.
3. B.J. Coleman, QB, Tennessee Chattanooga
Coleman reminds a lot of people of Peyton Manning the way he stands in the pocket. A Tennessee Vols transfer, Coleman is one of the most intriguing remaining quarterbacks.
4. Nick Foles, QB, Arizona
Foles has a big arm. He’s slow as molasses, but another guy with starter potential. Foles is not a favorite of Sayre.
5. Kirk Cousins, QB, Michigan State
Cousins is generally the #1 Quarterback left on most big boards. But not mine. Kirk Cousins doesn’t make great decisions and he doesn’t throw the football very well. He’s not overly athletic. To me is upside is Kyle Orton. I’m not sure why people are in love with him.
