Buffalo Bills Select T.J. Graham, WR, North Carolina State 2012 NFL Draft Grade

With the 69th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills have selected T.J. Graham, WR, North Carolina State

Here is our report on Graham:

It’s hard to believe that no one has noticed N.C. State speedster T.J. Graham to this point, and even harder to believe that I left him out of the top prospects for this year for the Wolfpack.

Upon further review, I’m calling a flag on myself and giving a self-inflicted 10 yard penalty. This kid is for real, and he was on top of his game last night in a blowout loss to the Cincinnati Bearcats.

Graham caught seven passes last night for 176 yards and two touchdowns, but he wasn’t done there. He also added 160 yards on seven kick returns, and has been an all around threat for the Wolfpack all season long.

The 6’0″ 180 pound speedster is an All-American track athlete and can really fly, and he’s also got some serious football skills. Over his last three games, he has 18 receptions for 421 yards and four touchdown grabs. He also has a punt return touchdown and 395 yards on kick returns.

Despite catching only one pass in N.C. State’s season opener for seven yards, he ranks second in the country as of Friday with 428 yards and is second among receivers with 15 or more receptions averaging over 22 yards per reception.

Pick Grade: C

Graham has the potential to be a dynamic return specialist and deep threat, but he’s a bit of a reach in the early part of the third round. He could be a solid pick down the line but it seems like average value here.
