Preview provided by Patrick Allen. Head to Arrowhead Addict for moer on the Kansas City Chiefs.

What are the team needs for the Chiefs heading into the draft?

For the first time in a long time the Chiefs are nearly set at every position as far as starters go. Still, the team lacks depth. I’d place their needs as follows:

QB, DT, T, S, ILB, RB

Who are some prospects you’d like to see end up with the Chiefs?

I would love to see the Chiefs come out of the draft with Luke Keuckly out of Boston College or David DeCastro out of Stanford in the first round. After that, I’d love if they could get their hands on Brandon Weeden to compete with Matt Cassel at the QB position. Other guys I like include WR Marvin McNutt, DT Josh Chapman and center Ben Jones.

What would represent a successful draft in your opinion?

If the Chiefs add depth to positions like tackle and safety but most of all, come out with a QB they believe in from the first two rounds.

Give us a bold prediction for your team.

I think the Chiefs will come out of this draft selecting Ryan Tannehill in the first round. They have spent a lot of time looking at him and they even brought him to KC for a visit. I think Scott Pioli will trade up to #7 if he thinks the Dolphins will bite on Tannehill and if he doesn’t, I think he’ll take him if he is there at #12.
