New York Giants 2012 NFL Schedule Early Look

The New York Giants schedule has gotten out a bit early, though the times of the games are missing, the order of the opponets are in. The Giants interestingly have two games early in the season on Wednesday or Thursday night. I don’t know if that’s happened before, where a team has two Thursday games so early.

Also interesting is that the Giants will finish playing the Cowboys by week 8 of the 2012 season. In 2011 the Giants had two late season games against the Cowboys against the division, which was exciting it’s kind of anti-climatic that the Giants won’t play the Cowboys at all in the second half of the season.

The Giants got a late season bye which is nice-at week 11.

Again the Giants have a brutal closing stretch to end the season. Between weeks 12 and 17 the Giants will have to play the Packers,  Saints, Falcons, Ravens and Eagles. They get the Falcons in Atlanta where they are terrific.

The Giants, have the most difficult schedule in the league based on the prior season’s winning percentage.

Week 2 – vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 3 – at Carolina Panthers (Thursday)

Week 4 – at Philadelphia Eagles Update (@mikegarofolo says this game is a Sunday Night Game)

Week 5 – vs. Cleveland Browns

Week 6 – at San Francisco 49ers

Week 7 – vs. Washington Redskins

Week 8 – at Dallas Cowboys

Week 9 – vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 10 – at Cincinnati Bengals

Week 11 – BYE (Nov. 18)

Week 12 – vs. Green Bay Packers

Week 13 – at Washington Redskins

Week 14 – vs. New Orleans Saints

Week 15 – at Atlanta Falcons

Week 16 – at Baltimore Ravens

Week 17 – vs. Philadelphia Eagles
